  • Site visit. Free initial visit to scope the work and understand what you're trying to achieve.
  • Written quote. Itemised, fixed where possible, with clear allowances where it isn't.
  • Scheduled start. A real date, agreed in writing, with the prep window in between explained.
  • Single point of contact. One project manager from quote to handover. No "the office will get back to you."
  • Regular updates. Weekly check-ins by default, more often when things are changing fast.
  • Snagging and sign-off. A walk-through, a snagging list, the snags addressed, then sign-off. Not the other way round.

The construction industry has a trust problem — and most of it comes down to vague quotes, uncertified tradespeople, and warranties that aren't worth the paper they're not printed on. Building Group is set up to be the opposite of that.

  • Written quotes. Itemised, with assumptions stated. No "we'll work it out as we go."
  • Vetted tradespeople. All trades on site are checked, certified where required (Gas Safe, NICEIC, etc.), and accountable to the project manager.
  • Public liability insurance. Industry-standard cover on every project. Certificate available on request.
  • Building control liaison. We handle the paperwork — building regs applications, inspections, sign-off documents.
  • Warranties. Workmanship warranty on the work, manufacturer warranties on the materials. Both in writing.
